Earth Day 2010: Resources and a Hat Tip to Sen. Nelson
Thursday, April 22nd, 2010Forty years ago the world celebrated the first Earth Day as a grassroots movement and event spearheaded by Senator Gaylord Nelson. After percolating several years, the idea for Earth Day finally came to life in September 1969, when Sen. Nelson announced he was going to stage a nationwide “teach-in” demonstration for the environment the following spring. (more…)
