Mobility and UC: A Match Made in Heaven?
Sometimes you read a headline online that just makes you feel like the world is heading in the right direction. That happened the other day, with this article on TMCnet. It proclaims, “Mobility and UC: A Match Made in Heaven.”
Susan J. Campbell, contributing editor to TMCnet, talks about how the time is right for the blending of mobility and UC. Citing a Gartner analyst, she notes how mobility’s rise has led to the overwhelming need to incorporate it with UC, providing business value from presence and the guarantee that all incoming calls reach the intended person, wherever they may be.
This is right in line with what I’ve said here before, about why Sprint Mobile Integration is the key to reaching people anywhere – in addition to knowing where they are and what they are doing – to maximize communication effectiveness. And you have to be able to extend all the features and advantages of the corporate network out to the mobile device.
